” It’s a very political thing, and I think sometimes Taylor’s shows get overlooked because of that. But I think the fans speak for themselves. The fans are the ones who matter the most.

Overall, the second season of “Landman” has been a success, with a focus on family dynamics and intense confrontations between characters. Thornton’s portrayal of Tommy continues to impress, showcasing his ability to bring depth and authenticity to his roles. With a talented cast and a compelling storyline, “Landman” has managed to attract a broad group of fans from around the world. Despite potential snubs in award conversations, the show’s impact on viewers speaks volumes about its quality and appeal. “They’re all wonderful actors.” Not only them, but also some other actors in the audience who weren’t nominated, some who aren’t even present at the show, and some who aren’t even widely known have done an incredible job. It goes to show that if you pour your heart and soul into something you love, and you’re satisfied with your work, and it resonates with others, that in itself is the ultimate award.

As I reflect on my own career, I’ve come to realize that I am at a point where I no longer fret over accolades. I have received enough awards in my lifetime to feel content. While those I work for may not appreciate my nonchalant attitude towards awards, I believe in being honest about where I stand. At this stage in my life, I am too old to be concerned about such trivial matters.

It is important to recognize that true success and fulfillment come from within, from the satisfaction of knowing you have given your best in all that you do. Awards are certainly a nice recognition of one’s efforts, but they should not be the sole measure of success.

In conclusion, I believe that age has brought me wisdom and a sense of perspective. I am grateful for the recognition I have received throughout my career, but I am also content in knowing that my work speaks for itself. As I continue on this journey, I am focused on creating meaningful work that resonates with others, regardless of any external validation.
