A recent “TMZ Investigates” special on Fox Nation has shed new light on the case of Nick Reiner, who is accused of murdering his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner. The program revealed shocking details about Nick’s mental state, medication changes, and the brutal nature of the alleged murders.

According to TMZ executive producer Harvey Levin, Nick is currently not in a mental state to stand trial. He is described as being almost childlike in jail, unable to fully comprehend the consequences of his actions. Nick was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a condition that can cause delusions, hallucinations, and mood disorders. It was revealed that a month before the murders, doctors had changed Nick’s medication due to his complaints of weight gain, which had a significant impact on his mental state.

The alleged murders were described as incredibly brutal, with the medical examiner’s office staff reportedly traumatized by the crime scene photos. The killings had all the markings of a meth-related murder, as Nick was said to have been using the drug and was arrested in a drug den. Levin suggested that Nick’s behavior was erratic and out of control following the medication switch-up, leading to the tragic events.

Alan Jackson, a high-profile attorney who previously represented Nick before stepping away from the case, maintains that Nick is not guilty. Jackson believes that Nick may plead not guilty by reason of insanity, given his mental state at the time of the murders.

The case has shocked the nation, and those interested in learning more can subscribe to Fox Nation to stream the “TMZ Investigates the Reiner Murders: What Really Happened” special. The program delves deeper into the details of the case and provides valuable insights into the tragic events that unfolded.
