The legacy of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy lives on in pop culture, even 12 years after the release of “The Dark Knight Rises.” Now, fans of the Caped Crusader can fulfill their dreams of owning a real-life Batmobile, thanks to Wayne Enterprises, a licensed company specializing in luxury accessories for the wealthy.

The Tumbler, also known as the Dark Knight’s military-grade Batmobile, is now available for pre-order. This impressive vehicle is made from a combination of Kevlar, carbon fiber, and sheet metal fiberglass, weighing in at a hefty 5,511 pounds. Under the hood, it boasts a powerful 525 horsepower, 6.2L LS3 V-8 engine, along with advanced software upgrades and a two-seat interior. While the jet engine and gun turrets featured in the movies are non-functioning replicas, the Tumbler does come equipped with a smokescreen system for those dramatic getaways.

However, owning a piece of Batman’s arsenal doesn’t come cheap. Each Tumbler from Wayne Enterprises comes with a price tag of approximately $2.99 million and a production time of up to 15 months. Interested buyers must apply for reserve spots, as availability is limited. And even if you have the funds, be prepared to use the Tumbler strictly on race tracks or closed-off roadways, as it is not street legal.

Despite the hefty price tag and restrictions on where it can be driven, the allure of owning a real Batmobile is undeniable for die-hard fans of the Dark Knight. With its sleek design and impressive features, the Tumbler offers a taste of what it’s like to be Batman, even if just for a thrilling joyride. So, for those willing to invest in their superhero fantasies, the Tumbler from Wayne Enterprises is a dream come true.
