Team India put on a stellar performance in the second T20I against New Zealand, emerging victorious by seven wickets at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. With this win, the Men in Blue now lead the five-match series 2-0.

Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and elected to field first. Despite a slightly lackluster bowling display that allowed New Zealand to post a competitive total of 208/6, the Indian team showed their class in the chase, comfortably reaching the target with almost five overs to spare.

Here are the player ratings for Team India from the second T20I against New Zealand:

Abhishek Sharma: 2/10
Abhishek had a forgettable outing, getting out for a first-ball duck and delivering two loose deliveries in the only over he bowled.

Sanju Samson: 2/10
Samson managed to survive a dropped catch early on but failed to capitalize, falling soon after while attempting a lofted shot. His performance at the top of the order and behind the stumps left much to be desired.

Suryakumar Yadav: 8.5/10
The Indian skipper finally found form, scoring a crucial half-century. Despite a couple of reprieves, he played some impressive shots against both pace and spin.

Ishan Kishan: 9/10
Kishan was the standout performer, launching a blistering attack from the start. His aggressive batting display helped seal the chase as he dominated the New Zealand bowlers with shots all around the ground.

Kuldeep Yadav: 7.5/10
Kuldeep may not have been at his best, but he still managed to pick up two important wickets while maintaining decent economy rates.

Hardik Pandya: 7/10
Hardik contributed with both ball and field, picking up a wicket with his bowling and taking three catches. He didn’t get a chance to bat in the match.

Rinku Singh: 5/10
Rinku had a quiet outing with not much to do, resulting in a standard rating for his performance.

Varun Chakaravarthy: 6/10
Varun had a mixed outing, conceding a few big hits but also picking up crucial wickets. His performance was decent overall given the conditions.

Shivam Dube: 9/10
Dube played a vital role with the ball, dismissing Daryl Mitchell with his smart bowling variations. He also made a valuable contribution with the bat, guiding India to victory.

Harshit Rana: 5/10
Rana started well with a wicket maiden but struggled in his subsequent overs, conceding runs and failing to make an impact.

Arshdeep Singh: 3/10
Arshdeep had a tough day initially, leaking runs in his first two overs. However, he bounced back with better bowling towards the end of the innings.

The Indian team put on a strong all-round performance to secure their second consecutive win in the series. With the players stepping up in crucial moments, Team India will look to maintain their momentum in the upcoming matches.
