Pete Davidson made a triumphant return to “Saturday Night Live” on November 2nd, joining his close friend and host, John Mulaney, in a hilarious sketch that had the audience in stitches.

The sketch revolved around a customer asking to purchase milk from the cashier at the Port Authority Duane Reade, a scenario that locals would typically try to avoid. What started as a simple interaction quickly escalated into a musical extravaganza featuring a medley of showtunes and New York City-centric themes.

The musical numbers included a “Lion King” parody about milk, a “Sound of Music” spoof about locked-up shampoo, a twisted Greyhound bus driver belting out a tune from “Les Miserables,” and a Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest with a rendition of “Willkommen” from “Cabaret.” Other highlights included a bit about mayor Eric Adams’ questionable associations with Turkey set to “Prince Ali” from “Aladdin,” and Andy Samberg playing a dead bear dumped in Central Park to the tune of “Hamilton.”

Davidson and Mulaney received applause when they broke character and called each other by their real names, much to the delight of the audience. Davidson, a former “SNL” cast member known for his standup segments on “Weekend Update” and recurring characters like Chad, was a fan favorite during his time on the show. Mulaney, who has a knack for hosting musical parodies like “Airport Sushi” and “Diner Lobster,” brought his signature humor to the sketch.

If you missed the sketch, be sure to check it out below for a good laugh. And stay tuned for more hilarious moments on “Saturday Night Live” with Pete Davidson and John Mulaney.
