Motorola has recently launched four new budget-friendly G-series smartphones, including the Moto G77, Moto G67, Moto G17, and Moto G17 Power. Among these, the Moto G77 and Moto G67 are the flagship models for the brand in 2026, offering impressive features at affordable prices.
The Moto G77 and Moto G67 both come with a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and High Brightness Mode that goes up to 5,000 nits. They are also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for durability, IP64-rated water resistance, and MIL-STD 810H certification. Both phones are slim and lightweight, measuring 167.18 x 77.37 x 7.33mm and weighing 182g.
In terms of battery life, the Moto G77 and Moto G67 pack a 5,200mAh battery with 30W wired charging support. They also feature stereo sound with Dolby Atmos support for an enhanced audio experience.
The standout feature of the Moto G77 is its advanced 108MP main camera, offering the ability to capture high-quality images with 3x lossless zoom. On the other hand, the Moto G67 sports a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 main sensor with Quad Pixel technology. The Moto G77 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor with 12GB of RAM, while the Moto G67 comes with a Dimensity 6300 processor and either 4- or 8GB of RAM.
One major drawback of both phones is the limited software support, with the Moto G77 receiving three years of OS updates and four and a half years of security patches, while the Moto G67 only gets two years of updates and security patches.
Moving on to the Moto G17 and Moto G17 Power, these models offer similar specs to the Moto G67, including a 50MP main camera, MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme chipset, and a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display. The main difference between the two is the battery capacity and charging speeds, with the G17 Power boasting a larger 6000mAh battery and 30W charging support.
Despite their impressive features, the Moto G17 and G17 Power also suffer from poor software support, with zero major OS upgrades and only two years of security patches.
The Moto G77 is priced at ÂŁ249.99, while the Moto G67 comes in at ÂŁ199.99. The Moto G17 is available for ÂŁ149.99. These prices position Motorola as a direct competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy A series, particularly the Galaxy A17 5G and upcoming Galaxy A27.
Overall, the new Moto G series offers a compelling combination of features at competitive prices, making them a solid choice for budget-conscious consumers.
