The recent release of emails from the U.S. Department of Justice has brought to light shocking allegations made by Jeffrey Epstein against Bill Gates. According to the newly disclosed records, Epstein claimed that Gates had sought to conceal a sexually transmitted infection (STI) from his then-wife, Melinda French Gates. The draft emails, dated back to 2013, contain unverified accusations made by Epstein against Gates, including claims that he contracted an STI from “Russian girls.”
In one of the emails addressed to himself, Epstein detailed the alleged incident, stating that Gates had tearfully asked him to delete emails related to the STI, request for antibiotics to give to Melinda, and descriptions of intimate encounters. A spokesperson for Gates has vehemently denied these claims, calling them “absolutely absurd and completely false.” The spokesperson suggested that Epstein’s motive was to defame Gates due to his lack of an ongoing relationship with him.
The draft emails were reportedly written for Boris Nikolic, a former adviser to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. However, there is no indication that Nikolic authored or was aware of the drafts or the accusations. Nikolic, a physician and biotech venture capitalist, resigned from his position at the Gates Foundation in 2014. In 2019, a spokesperson for Nikolic clarified that he had no business ties with Epstein.
Another email attributed to Epstein described alleged actions involving Nikolic, claiming that he had been asked to participate in morally inappropriate and potentially illegal activities. The email mentioned providing drugs to Gates for his encounters with Russian girls and facilitating illicit trysts with married women.
The release of these documents comes after previous disclosures by the DOJ in 2025, which included photographs of Epstein with Gates and other prominent figures. Gates has expressed regret over his association with Epstein, acknowledging that it was a mistake to spend time with him in hopes of furthering global health philanthropy. Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking of minors, died in an apparent suicide while awaiting trial.
As these shocking revelations continue to unfold, it is clear that the relationship between Bill Gates and Jeffrey Epstein was far more complex and troubling than previously known. The impact of these allegations on Gates’ reputation and philanthropic endeavors remains to be seen.
