Beatrice, who was 31 then, was escorted down the aisle by Andrew, although he was conspicuously missing from the official wedding photos that were later released, which prominently featured Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
The Queen provided Beatrice with a vintage gown and tiara for the wedding, a gesture seen by many as an attempt to maintain a celebratory atmosphere during a challenging period for the family. Since then, the scrutiny of Andrew’s ties with Epstein has grown, with new documents and allegations continuing to attract significant media attention.
Andrew has denied any wrongdoing and has not been convicted of a criminal offense. However, in 2022, he reached an out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre, who was involved in Epstein’s trafficking, without admitting any liability.
