Vic Mensa recently returned from Minneapolis and has spoken out about what he describes as state-sponsored terrorism being carried out by ICE in the city. In an interview in Los Angeles earlier this week, the rapper expressed his concerns about the actions of the federal agency, stating that they are not only responsible for taking lives but also using sonic cannons and other aggressive tactics that could have long-lasting effects on citizens.

Despite the alarming situation unfolding in Minneapolis, Mensa remains unshaken, noting that as a Black man in America, he has witnessed similar responses from law enforcement towards protesters in the past. He acknowledges the fear that some individuals may have about getting involved in the fight against ICE but emphasizes that this issue affects everyone, especially members of minority groups.

The protests in Minnesota, sparked by the deaths of U.S. citizens Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of ICE agents, have gained momentum across the nation in recent weeks. The ongoing unrest shows no signs of abating, prompting Mensa to urge people to stay engaged and continue advocating for justice.

It is clear that the situation is dire and requires immediate attention from the public. Mensa’s passionate plea for unity and activism underscores the importance of standing up against state-sponsored violence and advocating for the rights of all individuals. As the fight against ICE’s oppressive tactics continues, it is vital for communities to come together and demand accountability and change.
