During their 2026 Lollapalooza performance, María Zardoya, the lead singer of Not for Radio and The Marías, honored her late niece, Victoria Zardoya.
On Friday, July 31, María, 31, and her band performed at the Chicago music festival. At the conclusion of her set, the stage was illuminated with a light display.
“Fly high, Victoria Zardoya,” read a LED message, as captured in social media footage.
Victoria, who was the childhood best friend of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Milania Giudice, passed away on July 24 due to a tragic accidental fall. She was 20 years old.
María spoke out about her niece’s passing a day before her Lollapalooza performance.
“Rest in peace to my sweet niece, Victoria,” the Grammy nominee shared on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 30. “Heaven gained an angel too soon, but she lives on.”
At that time, María also mentioned that Friday would mark Victoria’s honor walk, a tribute for those who have donated organs, where medical staff and family members commemorate the deceased.
“She’ll give the gift of life to 8 others,” the singer said in her social media post. “As we perform this weekend, she’ll be saving lives, and I know she’ll be singing and dancing along with us. Light a candle and say a prayer for the family and for the families of the recipients. We love you, Victoria.”
Victoria is survived by her parents and her twin sister, Alexandra Zardoya, in addition to her aunt.

Tears are falling down my cheeks as I type every word,” Alexandra, 20, expressed on Instagram on Friday, as she broke her silence about Victoria’s passing. “My twin sister, my other half, we were together in the womb, and since then we have been inseparable. You were the only person who truly understood every part of me and brought light into everyone’s life, especially mine.”
She added, “Victoria, you meant everything to me. I still feel like this is a bad dream, and at any moment I’ll wake up to find you beside me, watching Vanderpump Rules together. Everything reminds me of you. I don’t know how to go on without you. Our bond was more than just sharing a birthday or DNA. We shared a life, a heart, a soul, and a love like no other. Half of my heart will forever be broken.”
