“I know Dallas would like to come back, all things equal,” Garafolo stated. “He took a pay cut last year to make it happen. But even then, you’ve got to have yourself multiple tight ends.”

“Whether they want to address the position in the draft or not, they could have a need here if Goedert decides to pursue opportunities elsewhere,” Dubin explained. “Eagles need to figure out a way to open up the middle of the field for their offense, and Njoku could help them do that.”
Njoku, who lost his starting role to Harold Fannin Jr. in 2025, announced on social media that he would not be returning to the Browns in 2026 and plans to test free agency. This development could pave the way for the Eagles to consider Njoku as a replacement for Goedert.
