Robert Dorgan, a transgender father who also went by the name Roberta Esposito, carried out a horrific shooting at a high school hockey tournament, resulting in the deaths of his adult son, Aidan, and his ex-wife, Rhonda Dorgan.
In a statement released through their attorney Joseph Signore, the Dorgan family expressed their deep sorrow and pain over the incident. They emphasized the profound impact the tragedy has had on their family and extended their thoughts to all those affected by the heartbreaking events at the arena.
The shooting took place during a high school senior event at the ice hockey rink, where Robert Dorgan targeted his own family members. Armed with firearms, he fatally shot his son and ex-wife in the stands, causing chaos and panic among the attendees who were present to celebrate senior night.
Harrowing footage captured the moment Dorgan opened fire, with families fleeing for safety as the shots rang out. In addition to the fatalities, Rhonda’s parents and a family friend were also injured and remain in critical condition at a Rhode Island hospital.
