The popular reality TV show “Desert Law” has been making waves on A&E, showcasing the day-to-day activities of deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. However, despite the show’s success, viewers shouldn’t expect to see any coverage of the Nancy Guthrie investigation on the program.

Last year, a camera crew from A&E filmed the first season of “Desert Law,” which is currently airing on the channel. Sheriff Chris Nanos, although a prominent figure in the department, does not make an appearance on the show. Production sources have revealed that the crew has not been filming during the Nancy Guthrie investigation. The episodes for the first season were already completed last summer and are set to air on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. on A&E.

As for a potential second season of “Desert Law,” discussions have not yet taken place. The Pima County investigators are fully focused on the Guthrie case, leaving little time for producers to consider a renewal. Even if the show does get picked up for another season, it is unlikely to cover the Nancy Guthrie case.

The Nancy Guthrie case has captured the attention of the public, with the last sighting of her dating back nearly three weeks ago. The investigation has taken a troubling turn with the emergence of ransom notes and individuals claiming to have information on her abduction. Surveillance footage from Guthrie’s doorbell camera captured a masked man on her doorstep in the early hours of February 1.

In a surprising development, the FBI has reached out to Mexican federal law enforcement agencies to determine if Guthrie may have been taken across the border. The case continues to unfold, with authorities working tirelessly to bring closure to Guthrie’s disappearance.
