A Pennsylvania high school senior has been arrested and is facing over 300 felony charges after being accused of operating a “large-scale criminal network” involving sextortion and catfishing. Zachariah Abraham Meyers, an 18-year-old from McMurray, was charged with offenses such as trafficking in minors, sexual extortion, unlawful contact with a minor, and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

Authorities allege that Meyers used social media platforms like TikTok and Snapchat to lure victims into communicating with him. He reportedly used photos of other people to create false identities, including that of an adult film actress from another country. Meyers was able to deceive and coerce juvenile males into sending explicit pornographic images and videos of themselves.

During the investigation, police interviewed 30 underage boys and identified at least 21 victims. Evidence recovered from Meyers’ phone allegedly linked him to the criminal activity. He is currently being held at Washington County Prison pending a preliminary hearing, after being denied bail due to being considered a danger to the community and a flight risk.

The Peters Township School District released a statement saying that the police had informed them of the ongoing investigation and that there is no immediate safety risk to the schools. They assured that the safety and well-being of students, staff, and families remain their highest priority and expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Peters Township Police in the matter.

Both the Peters Township School District and the Peters Township Police Department have not responded to requests for comment from Fox News Digital. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to ensure justice for the victims of this disturbing case.
