Firefighters in Dunedin came to the rescue of a driver who crashed into a house, becoming trapped in their car. The incident occurred in the evening on Helensburgh Rd in Halfway Bush.
Emergency services were quick to respond, with crews from Roslyn, Willowbank, and Lookout Point attending the scene at 8.23pm. They worked together to safely remove the trapped individual from the vehicle.
Following the rescue, the person was assessed by Hato Hone St John staff for any injuries. The police were then called in to take over the situation, as there was damage to the house and the driver had sustained minor injuries.
