Dingell’s remark was directed at Natalie Harp, a White House aide known for writing admiring letters to Trump and for her refusal to obtain a security clearance. Harp reportedly accompanied the president on a small aircraft departing Turkey, while journalists and Cabinet members were left to take Air Force One amid a security threat last month.
“[Trump] doesn’t want to do the job,” Ossoff commented. “He prefers to construct his ballroom and journey with Natalie on their seemingly unguarded flying palace bestowed by the emir of Qatar.”
