HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) — Sanitation Worker Discovers Man Hiding in Trash Can
A sanitation worker in Ohio had quite the surprise during his daily rounds when he found a man hiding inside a trash can.
The Huber Heights Police Department shared dash camera footage on their Facebook page, showing the worker approaching the garbage truck, opening the bin, and being shocked by the unexpected discovery.
According to police, the man had evaded officers following a traffic stop earlier that day. After temporarily losing sight of him, authorities set up a perimeter in the vicinity.
In the video, the man emerges from the bin and makes a run for it, with an officer in pursuit. During the chase, the man’s shoes are seen flying off.
Fortunately, the man was apprehended without any injuries, ensuring a strange and eventful day for everyone involved.
