Al-Nassr fans are eagerly anticipating a goal-fest as Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates prepare to take on Al-Najma in the Saudi Pro League. The match, scheduled for Wednesday, could see the Knights of Najd reclaim the top spot with a victory.

In their previous league fixture, Jorge Jesus’ side secured a convincing 4-0 win over Al-Hazem, with Ronaldo shining by scoring a brace. Kingsley Coman and Angelo Gabriel also found the back of the net in a dominant display.

With five consecutive wins under their belt, Al-Nassr has closed the gap to just one point behind league leaders Al-Hilal, who have played an extra game. The strong attacking trio of Ronaldo, Coman, and Sadio Mane has raised expectations among fans for a high-scoring affair.

Social media was buzzing with excitement as fans shared their hopes for multiple goals from their star-studded lineup. One fan tweeted, “Lowest rank team in the Saudi league, anything less than 2-3 goals is bad but we need chances so let’s see 🐐.” Another supporter posted, “Good lineup let’s go Al Nassr πŸ”₯πŸ’›πŸ’™,” reflecting the optimism surrounding the team’s attacking prowess.

Despite Al-Najma’s struggles this season, having only managed one win in 22 games and sitting at the bottom of the standings, they have scored more goals than Ronaldo individually. The Portuguese forward has netted 20 times for Al-Nassr in the league, just one behind their upcoming opponents.

Speaking of Ronaldo’s impact, the veteran forward has been in fine form for Al-Nassr, scoring 21 goals and providing three assists in 24 appearances across all competitions. Since turning 41, Ronaldo has continued his impressive scoring record, finding the back of the net in crucial league matches against Al-Fateh and Al-Hazem.

Currently third in the league’s scoring charts with 20 goals, Ronaldo is trailing behind Ivan Toney of Al-Ahli by three goals. His leadership and attacking prowess have been instrumental in Al-Nassr’s pursuit of the league title.

As the anticipation builds for the upcoming clash between Al-Nassr and Al-Najma, fans are hoping for another stellar performance from Ronaldo and his teammates. With the prospect of reclaiming the top spot in the league, all eyes will be on the Knights of Najd as they aim for another victory.
