Who is Savannah Guthrie’s Husband? Meet Michael Feldman
Savannah Guthrie, the beloved co-anchor of NBC’s Today show, has been happily married to her husband, Michael Feldman, since 2014. The couple’s love story has had its share of ups and downs, but ultimately led to a beautiful proposal and a lifetime of happiness together.
After a few years of dating, Feldman surprised Guthrie with a proposal during a trip to Turks and Caicos in 2013. However, before he got down on one knee, Guthrie had actually broken up with him earlier that day.
In a candid interview on Today, Guthrie shared, “It got to the point where no one thought we were ever going to get married — including us, especially including me. We were kind of at that point in life where it was like, we’re either going to have to decide to get married, or we’re just going to have to love each other but let each other go.”
She admitted, “I was like, ‘Sweetie, I love you so much, but if we can’t decide, then I think we’ve decided.'” Little did she know, Feldman had already planned to propose to her later that evening.
When Feldman finally popped the question, Guthrie didn’t hesitate to say “yes” after thinking about it for “about .2 seconds.” The surprise proposal was a beautiful moment that solidified their love and commitment to each other.
Today, Savannah Guthrie and Michael Feldman are happily married and share two children together. Their love story is a reminder that sometimes the best things in life come when we least expect them.
