Reports indicate that there have been talks about a potential meeting between Charles and his grandchildren.
The King last saw Archie and Lilibet during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.
A palace aide commented, “There is a genuine desire among some family members to move forward. Any opportunity for the King to spend time with his grandchildren would be viewed as significant given how little contact there has been in recent years.”
It has been suggested that several royal residences could serve as accommodation options for Harry’s visit to Britain. These include Buckingham Palace, which is undergoing a $500 million renovation, St James’s Palace, Windsor Castle, and Frogmore Cottage.
However, the relationship between Harry and his brother, Prince William, 44, remains tense.
William is not anticipated to meet Harry during his summer trip to his homeland, with reports indicating that the brothers have not communicated since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.
Last year, Harry had a private meeting with Charles at Clarence House after the King’s cancer diagnosis and reportedly brought a framed photo of Archie and Lilibet to show his father during their discussion.
