The Producers Guild of America recently held its west coast PGA Awards nominee celebration, where early winners were announced for categories such as sports, children’s programs, and short-form content. The main awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, but four awards were revealed at Thursday’s event at The Aster in Hollywood. Originally, the Children’s and Sports award winners were supposed to be announced in New York, but the event was canceled due to inclement weather.

In addition to the awards, the producing team for “The Wizard of Oz at Sphere” received the PGA Innovation Award for their outstanding work in entertainment across emerging media. Lydia Dean Pilcher was honored with the Vance Van Petten Entrepreneurial Spirit Producing Award for her advocacy for sustainability in film and television.
The event chairs for the 2026 Producers Guild Awards are Mike Farah and Joe Farrell, with the ceremony being produced by Anchor Street Collective. Branden Chapman serves as the executive producer, and Carleen Cappelletti as the co-executive producer.
