Delali Ayivi, a talented Togolese-German photographer, has recently been recognized for her exceptional work in the creative industry. Born in Baltimore and raised in Germany, Delali’s unique perspective on fashion and identity has captured the attention of many. Her experiences living in Malawi and studying at the University of the Arts London have greatly influenced her artistic vision.

Delali draws inspiration from her great-great-grandfather, Alex A. Acolatse, as she documents the diverse communities she encounters in Togo, Germany, and Malawi. Her work focuses on the intersection of fashion and identity, showcasing the beauty and complexity of cultural expression. Currently splitting her time between London and Lomé, Delali co-founded Togo Yeye in 2019, a platform that supports creative communities both at home and in the diaspora.

Delali’s talent has not gone unnoticed, as she has received numerous accolades over the years. She was named in the Dazed 100 list and recognized as a British Fashion Council NEW WAVE Creative in 2023. In 2025, she was honored with a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list, solidifying her status as a rising star in the industry.

Pandora, a renowned jewelry brand, recently selected Delali as a recipient of their Women by Women open call. In recognition of the strength, clarity, and originality of her artistic vision, Delali was awarded a prestigious 20,000 euro financial grant. Pandora’s creative directors, Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, commended Delali for her imaginative approach to storytelling and the way she explores themes of identity and transformation.

“We are inspired by Delali’s creative vision, which is deeply rooted in the idea of imagination as freedom – imagination as a way to expand reality,” said Terzo and Ficarelli. “Her Language of Becoming, and her exploration of identity shaped by transformation and courage, feel both unique and universal. Her work has the power to open up meaningful conversations around personal expression and transformation — two themes that are deeply connected to the foundation of Pandora. It is a true pleasure for us to support, uplift and celebrate her work.”

As she continues to push boundaries and challenge conventions, Delali Ayivi is undoubtedly a talent to watch in the creative landscape.
