Jaymes Vaughan made a splash on Nov. 8 when he debuted two new Christmas singles aboard Hallmark’s Christmas Cruise on the Norwegian Gem. The singer, who is married to Hallmark actor and producer Jonathan Bennett, performed his songs “It’s Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas” and “Home for the Holiday” on the final night of the cruise. Bennett, along with a star-studded cast including Tyler Hynes, Brooke D’Orsay, Ashley Williams, Will Kemp, B.J. Britt, Heather Hemmens, Kristoffer Polaha, Rachel Boston, Brendan Penny, and Hunter King, danced behind him on stage.

Following his performance, Vaughan and the cast announced that “Home for the Holiday” will be featured in the upcoming movie “Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane,” which is set to stream on Hallmark+ on Dec. 5. In the movie, Bennett stars alongside Annabelle Bourke, Corey Cott, Sarah Dugdale, Shannon Kook, and Vincent Rodriguez III. “Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane” is one of three sequels to the 2023 hit, focusing on different families who have lived in 7 Cherry Lane over 70 years, exploring different eras.

Vaughan expressed his excitement about being a part of the Hallmark Channel holiday magic, stating, “For me, Christmas time and Hallmark Channel movies evoke the same feelings. They’re both hopeful, they’re both positive and for me, they’re both a happy ending that you can count on.” Vaughan’s songs are part of his upcoming EP, “Feels Like Christmas,” which is scheduled to be released on Nov. 12. He collaborated with Mark Vogel on the EP, aiming to create music that captures the essence of the holiday season and brings joy to listeners.

“I wanted to write the kind of Christmas music that you know exactly what you’re in for the minute it starts. Music that is undeniably of the season. And hopefully, music makes you happier as it goes along,” Vaughan shared. “These tracks are all originals, not covers, because I wanted to create music that reflects what Christmas music sounds like to me. This is dance around the living room kind of Christmas music and I’m really proud of it.”

Stay tuned for Jaymes Vaughan’s EP release and the premiere of “Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane” on Hallmark+ for a festive holiday season filled with heartwarming music and movies.
