The newly opened Roger Vivier maison in Paris played host to a star-studded daytime soirée, drawing guests like Alexa Chung, Aubrey Plaza, Tracee Ellis Ross, and French fashion icon Inès de La Fressange. The event was a celebration of the brand’s latest collection, which pays homage to its rich heritage with a modern twist.

Creative director Gherardo Felloni delved into the brand’s archives, drawing inspiration from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1980s to create a lineup of bold and eclectic designs that captured the attention of fashion insiders and celebrities alike. The collection featured zebra print thigh-high boots, rhinestone-encrusted vests, and chic bow-topped pillbox hats, reminiscent of the brand’s iconic aesthetic.

Guests mingled over coffee and cocktails, posing for photos on the grand marble staircase of the Parisian palace. The lower level of the venue housed a treasure trove of archival pieces, where guests could explore the brand’s history and craftsmanship up close.

Felloni expressed his love for the archives, stating, “I always start from the archive, which I love so much. This season, I explored this chapter of the archive that, for me, is the expression of Roger Vivier’s sensuality.” The collection featured embellished velvet cuissardes, retro pumps, and the iconic Choc heel that has been a signature of the brand since the 1950s.

One of the highlights of the event was the display of pillbox hats from the brand’s headwear capsule, paying homage to Roger Vivier’s early designs. Guests marveled at the intricate craftsmanship of the shoes, including hand-crafted leather roses and delicate heels that added a touch of elegance to the collection.
