NBC’s “Brilliant Minds” is set to return for its final six episodes of Season 2 in May, with a star-studded lineup of guest stars joining the cast. Ed Begley Jr., Anne Archer, Mamie Gummer, and Ana Ortiz are set to make appearances on the show, adding new layers of complexity to the already gripping storyline.
Begley Jr. will take on the role of Duke in Episode 220, playing a once-commanding patriarch who struggles to hold onto his defining memories. Archer will portray Bonnie, a kindhearted matriarch facing the challenge of reconciling her dream future with the harsh realities of the present. Gummer will guest star as Regan in Episode 217, a psychiatric patient whose mysterious case intrigues Dr. Wolf, played by Zachary Quinto. And in Episode 218, Ortiz will play Alyssa Rivera, a recently released ex-convict determined to reclaim her old life.
The show, inspired by author and neurologist Oliver Sacks, follows Dr. Wolf as he unravels medical mysteries of the mind at Bronx General. Quinto leads the ensemble cast, which includes Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, and more.
