Drew Allar took part in the Penn State Pro Day, where the 2026 NFL Draft prospect demonstrated his impressive arm skills to scouts evaluating potential draft picks.

As reported by Audrey Snyder, Allar addressed the media following the event, expressing his willingness to throw every day of the week if required.

Reactions from NFL fans on X followed Allar’s comments.

A fan said, “That’s all he can do after what’s on film.”

Another added, “7th round.”

One wrote, “Dude was throwing ducks and off-target out routes vs air. Imagine how horrific he would be in the NFL lmao.”

There were also some supportive voices among the fans.

One said, “Good kid who was blindly loyal to a Ponzi schemer. Hope the NFL works out for him.”

Another wrote, “Put on pads and add an O-Line and D-Line. Night and Day.”

One chipped in, saying, “Obviously…”

Allar’s appearance at Pro Day symbolized the conclusion of his career with the Penn State Nittany Lions. He was their dominant starter for three out of four seasons, contributing to their 2024 College Football Playoffs entry.

His college career ended prematurely due to an ankle injury against the Northwestern Wildcats on October 11, 2025. Now focused on the NFL, Allar has completed measurements at the NFL Combine and showcased his throwing abilities at Penn State Pro Day.

Drew Allar is projected as a Day 2 pick

Sports Illustrated suggests Allar could be selected in the second or third round. The Pittsburgh Steelers have shown interest, as they plan for the future after Aaron Rodgers. Allar’s attributes may suit Mike McCarthy’s offensive style.

Allar has been praised for his throwing velocity, ideal quarterback physique, and rapid release. His success in Penn State’s system could translate to the NFL.

Despite these strengths, concerns about his injury persist, affecting his draft status. Additionally, his short-range accuracy and footwork need improvement, and his post-snap decision-making is still developing.

With the draft approaching, Allar remains keen to impress NFL general managers and coaches with his skills.
