The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley is addressing rumors about her home being in foreclosure.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, March 19, Dorit, 49, responded to a RadarOnline report. The report alleged that she and her estranged husband PK Kemsley are behind on mortgage payments totaling over $840,000.
“I found out about this a few weeks before everyone else,” Dorit explained. “PK was responsible for managing it. I didn’t realize it hadn’t been paid. We’ve since discussed it and he’s agreed to settle the debt.”
Dorit confirmed that they plan to “put the house on the market” and she intends to find a new residence for herself and the couple’s two children, son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10.
Dorit and PK purchased their six-bedroom Encino, Los Angeles home for $6,475,000 in August 2019.
Following their separation announcement in May 2024, Dorit stayed in the 9,000-square-foot home with their children.
“Our relationship has been the subject of much speculation. We’ve faced struggles over the years but continue to work through them as a couple who love each other and our two amazing children,” Dorit and PK stated in May 2024, announcing their split. “To prioritize a harmonious environment for our children and safeguard our friendship, we’ve decided to take some time apart and reassess our relationship. We’re grateful for your love and support during this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.”
Nearly a year later, in April 2025, Dorit filed for divorce from PK, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly at the time.
The Bravo star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, seeking sole legal and physical custody of their children, as well as spousal support.
In January, Dorit expressed her openness to dating again, nearly two years after her separation.
During a WWHL appearance, Dorit told host Andy Cohen that she hadn’t been on a date since the split but expressed, “I’d like to kiss someone.”
During the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, currently airing on Bravo, Dorit has discussed her difficult divorce from PK.
At a party hosted by costar Jennifer Tilly, Dorit accused PK of “torturing” her during their divorce proceedings.
In a confessional, Dorit shared, “My kids needed love and support, and being with family. This is the first time I’m seeing the impact of my divorce from PK, and it’s tearing me apart.”
