Cam Newton shared strong message to Auburn Tigers recruits
The Auburn Tigers faced challenges and missed out on the College Football Playoff last season.
On Friday, Newton delivered a message to the recruits after a personal workout with Auburn’s strength and conditioning coach, George Courides.
âIf they ainât about winning, they can get out of my face and go back to where they came from,” Newton said. “Iâm tired of supporting something thatâs not winning! Can you deliver that message to the parents? Especially to the parents. Before they ask for money, WE. WANT. WINNERS. Thatâs our restitution. We give you money, you give us wins, and if you donât. CTRL. ALT. DELETE.”
Newton played for Auburn and earned the Heisman Trophy in 2010. The Tigers concluded last season with a 5â7 record.
