Snapchat videos lead to federal gun charges against Chicago man: : ‘Gotta reload these b****es’

A man from Chicago is facing a federal weapons charge after allegedly providing incriminating evidence against himself through a series of Snapchat videos. These videos reportedly show him handling guns, moving through rival gang areas while armed, and firing a handgun into the air while claiming gang affiliation, as stated in court documents.

The case involving Alexander Martinez-Quiroz seems more like an accidental confession discovered online than a traditional high-stakes federal investigation.

An FBI agent, who filed the complaint supporting the charges, stated that investigators secured a search warrant for Martinez-Quiroz’s Snapchat account in March, uncovering numerous videos he had saved or shared with others.

In a video dated December 18, 2025, Martinez-Quiroz, allegedly a member of the Two Six gang, is shown driving a Ford F-150 in an area known as Latin Saint gang territory while holding a weapon.

In the video, he allegedly stated, “I don’t give a f***, I’ll die today, I don’t give a f***. Somebody’s dying today, though. I promise you that. Rest in peace my n****, Lechuga. Saint killer. If I don’t drop a Saint, I’ll drop a donut for real, I promise you that.”

The agent’s report explained that “donut” is gang slang for members of the Satan Disciples, another rival gang. The agent alleges that Martinez-Quiroz intended to retaliate against a Latin Saints or a Satan Disciple member for the death of someone he referred to as “Lechuga.”

According to the complaint, Chicago police informed federal investigators that Lewis Lechuga was shot and killed on January 30, 2023, in a Taco Bell parking lot at 4614 South Damen Street, and that Lechuga was believed to be a member of the Two Six gang.

The same Taco Bell parking lot is featured in another Snapchat video allegedly found in Martinez-Quiroz’s account. This video purportedly shows him exiting a vehicle with a gun, mentioning Lechuga, and threatening, “47th street. I’m gonna pack you n***** up.”

About ten minutes later, Martinez-Quiroz allegedly filmed another video while walking through Latin Saints territory, holding a gun in one hand and recording with the other as he asked, “Where the Saints today, though?”

Approximately half an hour later, in a fourth video, Martinez-Quiroz allegedly documented himself inside a vehicle, saying, “Hold on, this s*** is gonna be funny,” before exiting the vehicle, standing in front of a building, and declaring, “What am I? Yeah, I’m a gangster Two-Six. What’s up?” He then allegedly fired a handgun three times into the air.

Investigators discovered an earlier video from December 14 showing a table filled with firearms, including a rifle, a Glock-style handgun with a drum magazine, another handgun with an extended magazine, and various loose ammunition. A person in the video is heard saying, “Gotta reload these b****es, f***.”

The serial number on the rifle was partially visible in the video, and ATF records identified it as stolen from a shipment bound from a Michigan manufacturer to an Iowa company, according to the complaint.

Investigators linked this footage to Martinez-Quiroz’s residence using geolocation data embedded in the video.

On Thursday, federal agents executed search warrants at Martinez-Quiroz’s home, vehicle, and person.

Upon searching his home, agents reportedly found the stolen GL-15 rifle, loaded, along with a loaded Glock Model 19 with a drum-style magazine, multiple rounds of ammunition, a Springfield XD firearm case with a loaded magazine, and an extended magazine, all resembling items seen in the December 14 video.

Martinez-Quiroz has been charged with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
