A Penthouse model, engaged to billionaire Stephen Cloobeck, a supporter of Eric Swalwell, was previously married to a pornographic film actor involved in a fatal traffic accident.
Adva Lavie and Edan Ives, known in the adult entertainment industry as “Big Nick,” were in a 2017 grey Honda Civic when Ives allegedly made an unsafe right turn, colliding with Manoochehr Namdar’s motorcycle, according to a lawsuit filed against Lavie and Ives.
The incident occurred in October 2022 at the intersection of Hayvenhurst and Ventura in Encino, California, resulting in severe injuries to Namdar, who later died, according to court documents.
Ives was arrested on June 8, 2023, and charged with vehicular manslaughter, receiving a sentence of 20 days in Los Angeles County jail and a year of probation.
A lawsuit was filed by Sam Namdar, the victim’s son, claiming he suffered from “depression, emotional distress, loss of earning capacity, and other injuries” due to his father’s death.
While seeking a jury trial and damages, the case was dismissed after the parties reached a settlement in April 2024, as shown in court documents.
In January 2021, Lavie, who uses the alias Mia Ventura, shared a photo of Ives on social media, urging her followers to visit his OnlyFans page, writing, “Message him and ask him whatever you want.”
The timeline of their marriage is unclear, but they filed a joint petition for divorce on March 3 in Clark County, Nevada. This followed Cloobeck’s Valentine’s Day proposal to Lavie at a glamorous charity event in Las Vegas.
Cloobeck, a timeshare magnate, has contributed over $1 million to support Eric Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign and received a $31,000 trip to France from Cloobeck.
It seems Cloobeck’s lavish estate, valued at $26 million and featuring six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a tennis court, has been transformed into a command center for the campaign.
Eric Swalwell has denied allegations of rape and sexual assault in a social media post filmed at Cloobeck’s Beverly Hills mansion, as reported by The Post.
Prosecutors claim that between 2023 and 2025, Lavie used dating apps to form relationships with wealthy older men and younger women in Los Angeles County, including areas like Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
Lavie is facing charges of six felonies, including two counts each of grand theft, burglary, and unauthorized use of personal identifying information. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
