Had the American electorate been more attentive, and if Democrats had been more vocal about Trump’s decline, it might have been evident that Trump was not cognitively fit for the presidency.
Trump’s decisions, from his preoccupation with tariffs against expert advice to his reliance on Netanyahu and conflict with Iran, have highlighted significant questions about his mental competence in the White House.
On Friday, the president attempted to promote a questionable deal to conclude the conflict with Iran, claiming complete success. Despite media reports disproving many of his assertions about the Iran peace deal, the stock market responded positively.
This was merely a prelude, as Trump’s decline became more apparent on Saturday.
