Big E, a former WWE Champion, recently shared his admiration on social media for a current AEW champion and another rising star in wrestling. He encountered them during a trip to Las Vegas.
While WrestleMania 42 unfolded at Allegiant Stadium last weekend, it wasn’t the only attraction for wrestlers in the city. Several wrestling conventions and major independent events were also underway.
Big E took to X/Twitter to express how he met TNT Champion Kevin Knight and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater at a gym in Las Vegas a few days ago. He shared that he had a meaningful conversation with these young talents, showering them with praise.
“Ran into @Jet2Flyy& @LEONSLATER_ at the gym in Vegas a few days ago. Glad I got to tell those brothers what a joy it is to watch them do incredible things in this industry. Pro wrestling’s youth movement is a beauty to behold.” he wrote.

Kevin Knight and Leon Slater have expressed their gratitude following Big E’s commendation.
Slater, a TNA star, thanked Big E for paving the way for them and shared a photo from their gym meeting.
“Thank you for paving the way 🙏🏾” Slater wrote.
Kevin Knight, similarly, acknowledged that without Big E and others who came before, their success wouldn’t be possible.
“Without you, there’s no us. Gratitude 🙏🏽” Knight wrote.
Both Knight and Slater are under 30, with Leon just 21 years old. They have solidified their positions in their respective promotions and achieved championship status. Fans are keenly following their careers, and they are poised to become leading names in the industry in the coming years.
