Kaitlyn Bristowe has addressed rumors about a supposed conflict with Jessi Draper.
After online speculation suggested a rift between the former Bachelorette star, 40, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives actress, 33, Kaitlyn took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 21, to address her fans directly.
In her video, Kaitlyn clarified that a previous post showing her enjoying cake with family drew criticism from an online commenter who stated, ‘People who are happy don’t have to tell us they’re happy.’ Kaitlyn responded by saying, ‘Oh, it’s not that deep.’”
Jessi also noticed the initial post and commented, “Same, girl,” before the post was unexpectedly removed.
Kaitlyn explained further, “I reposted it and commented, ‘I already posted this and it somehow got deleted. If the person who always has something passive-aggressive to say wants to repeat the comment, please do.’ I was directing this at a specific troll,” she clarified. “I tagged [Jessi] to show her I saw her comment, and somehow it spiraled into rumors of a feud. It’s unbelievable how people jump to conclusions.”
The friendship between Kaitlyn and Jessi seemed intact as Jessi later commented on Kaitlyn’s clarifying post, “Hahahah ILY😂❤️.”

Additionally, Kaitlyn shared a screenshot of her DMs with Jessi, showing their conversation where Jessi found the situation “hilarious.”
In her video, Kaitlyn also commented on the public’s intrigue with online disputes, jokingly suggesting she created a conflict with Jessi following Alix Earle and Alex Cooper’s ongoing spat. (Earle, 25, and Cooper, 31, have been publicly clashing recently, with sources mentioning their dispute is “ego-driven” since Earle’s podcast was dropped by Cooper’s network in February 2025.)
“People online are eager for women to fight,” Kaitlyn remarked. “We don’t know the full story, so whose side are we taking?”
To avoid further misunderstandings, Kaitlyn hoped her post would “put an end to this right now.”

Kaitlyn, who gained fame on The Bachelorette’s 11th season in 2015, recently discussed her fiery nature, which surfaced during her time on season 29 of Dancing With the Stars, where she emerged victorious. On the “Off the Vine” podcast on April 9, Kaitlyn shared that she was hesitant to follow her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev’s guidance.
“I wanted to challenge Artem on many things and tell him, but ultimately, I realized, ‘Nothing else matters except for his efforts to bring out the best in us. If I just listen, I’ll gain more than if I constantly question him,’” she recounted.
