Former RAW Women’s Champion Confirms WWE Release; Bianca Belair, Nikki Bella, Adam Pearce & Others React

This Friday marked a difficult day for WWE as the company released several superstars, just days after WrestleMania 42. Some of these stars were involved in current storylines up until that significant event.

Among those released was Nikki Cross, a member of The Wyatt Sicks. The faction, which included Bo Dallas, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan, had recently concluded a storyline with a feud-ending Street Fight against The MFTs on SmackDown before WrestleMania. All members of the group were part of the cuts announced in April 2026.

Nikki Cross is highly regarded both within WWE and by fans outside the organization. This was evident from the responses to her Instagram post where she confirmed her release from the company. In an emotional message, Nikki expressed gratitude to her fellow wrestlers, coaches, and backstage staff:

“Goodbye and Thank you WWE. I’m really excited for whatever my next chapter will hold. Thank you all for the continued love and support. Special thank you to Robbie Brookside and William Regal for helping this dream come true. Thank you to the wrestlers, coaches, producers and all the backstage crew who make all this possible. To the amazing girls in locker room ❤️,” she wrote.

Her post received supportive comments from many of her colleagues and former peers, including Bianca Belair, The Bella Twins, Raquel Rodriguez, and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, all wishing her well:

Her husband, Big Damo (formerly known as Killian Dain), also commented on her release. He quote-tweeted her post on X/Twitter, expressing pride in her and noting that she now has the freedom to pursue whatever she desires.

Every WWE Superstar Released on April 24, 2026

As previously mentioned, numerous WWE stars were released on Friday. Among the most notable were Nikki Cross and the rest of The Wyatt Sicks. Additionally, Kairi Sane, Aleister Black, and Zelina were also let go.
