Rhea Ripley secured the WWE Women’s Championship by defeating Jade Cargill decisively at WrestleMania 42 on Sunday. During the post-WrestleMania Friday Night SmackDown, The Nightmare interacted with fans but ended up in a match, where she experienced a minor wardrobe issue.
Several NXT talents debuted on Friday Night SmackDown, with Fatal Influence (comprising Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid) making a notable entrance. The trio attacked Paige and Brie Bella during their match against The Allies of Convenience (Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss).
Thanks for the submission!
Later that evening, Jacy Jayne and her group interrupted Rhea Ripley’s promo. The heel faction attempted to threaten The Nightmare, but Ripley was ready to face them. Nick Aldis stepped in to prevent a brawl, announcing an official singles match between Jayne and Ripley.
As the match drew to a close, Fallon and Reid, noticing Jayne’s struggle, attacked Ripley, leading to a disqualification. Observant viewers noted a minor wardrobe malfunction where Ripley’s wrestling shorts revealed her briefs on television.
