As is often the case with Trump, the event took an unexpected turn. He shifted the focus to discussing his dementia tests, boasting about being the first president required to undergo such an evaluation.
Trump further claimed to be a young man, which struck many as odd:
Now, I don’t happen to be a senior. I’m much younger than you. I’m a much younger man than you. Look at you old guys. Wouldn’t you like to be my age? It’s young, vital, vibrant. No, I’m much, much younger than the people in this room, but I feel I can relate to you anyway. See now the fake news will go tonight and they’ll say, “He’s claiming to be younger than the people.”

Trump’s remark, likely intended as a joke, comes amid growing concerns about his mental fitness.
His comments did not stop at age-related humor. Trump also took the opportunity to emphasize his success in passing a dementia screening, suggesting that his supporters would not be able to do the same.
