Good news for residents of Waikouaiti, Karitane, Hawksbury, and the Otago Peninsula as water conservation notices have been lifted following heavy rain last week. However, a precautionary boil water notice remains in place for the West Harbour area, including Ravensbourne, Maia, Roseneath, Port Chalmers, and more.

Residents in the West Harbour are urged to continue conserving water, with drinking water tanks available along the area, including a new one in Ravensbourne. Meanwhile, Outram remains under a Level 1 water restriction.

For tips on conserving water, visit dunedin.govt.nz/services/water-supply/saving-water-tips. It’s important to note that the rest of Dunedin city is not under any water boil, conservation, or restriction notices at this time.
