In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we honor the resilience, dedication, and patriotism of those whose ancestral roots lie across the Pacific. Their significant contributions have been instrumental in shaping the remarkable nation we celebrate today.
Over the course of 250 years of freedom and independence, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have played pivotal roles in our national narrative. From the over 77,000 courageous members of the Armed Forces safeguarding our liberties, to the numerous small business owners driving economic growth, and the skilled doctors and technological innovators enhancing our health and industry, their impact is felt in every aspect of American life.
My Administration’s goals align with the core values of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, which emphasize family, hard work, education, and the promise of freedom. Since returning to office, we have promoted these values by reducing living costs and providing historic tax relief to working families and small business owners through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. We are committed to curbing violent crime and ensuring our neighborhoods are safe for children. We are enhancing educational standards by empowering parents and promoting merit-based advancement. Additionally, we are establishing robust trade agreements with Asian and Pacific partners, expanding market access, strengthening supply chains, and creating better opportunities for American workers from all backgrounds.
This month, as we acknowledge the lasting contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, we commit to pursuing a bright American future, guided by faith, driven by hope, inspired by hard work, and strengthened by an unwavering belief in the greatness of our nation.
