For 250 years, mothers in our nation have been the pillars of family strength, nurturing generations of devoted Americans and instilling the timeless values that drive our country’s progress. This Mother’s Day, we honor the women whose unwavering love supports us through all stages of life.
The foundation of who we become often stems from the example set by our mothers. The confidence we hold and the principles we follow are frequently first demonstrated by women dedicated to bringing our American Dreams to fruition and ensuring our potential knows no bounds. Whether as adoptive, biological, foster, or maternal figures, mothers empower our strength, reveal our talents, and inspire us to aim higher than we ever imagined. Every leader and pioneer is backed by a dedicated woman who was instrumental in their rise.
Mothers are not only the cornerstone of others’ achievements; they also pursue their own goals while fostering strong families and nurturing thriving homes. Recognizing their contributions, my Administration is steadfast in advocating for policies that support mothers and their families.
Since my return to office, we have made the child tax credit permanent, reduced living costs, lowered prices on costly brand-name medications through TrumpRx, and invested in our children’s futures by establishing Trump Accounts. A mother’s love is tied to her desire to do what is best for her family, so we have restored parental rights in education. We prioritize school choice in federal grants, enhance access to private and faith-based education, and ensure parents are not compelled to accept a uniform approach in raising their children with the care they deserve. We have halted the influx of dangerous illegal immigrants and lethal drugs like fentanyl, securing the strongest border in American history, so more mothers won’t experience the devastating loss endured by our heroic Angel Moms. Our nation’s mothers have supported us with boundless love and commitment, and my Administration will never fail them.
Throughout our national history, resilient mothers have upheld our most treasured values and woven the very fabric of our Republic. As we celebrate Mother’s Day and 250 years of independence, we honor every mother who has dedicatedly passed on the flame of American values to future generations. We particularly commend the Gold Star Mothers whose children made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Above all, we cherish the mothers who teach us to honor our traditions, respect our great American Flag, and uphold the founding ideals that sustain our cherished way of life.
