Nicole Scherzinger is experiencing mixed feelings as the Pussycat Dolls have had to cancel all but one date on the U.S. segment of their PCD Forever Tour.

A source exclusively shared with Us Weekly that “Nicole is disappointed.” She was eager to join Ashley [Roberts] and Kimberly [Wyatt] to mark a new era, but now feels they missed the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities.

The insider mentioned that the girl’s group’s ambitions were perhaps too high, planning their first tour since 2009’s Doll Domination, which led to lower-than-expected ticket sales.

“They went from not touring for over 15 years to booking large venues like Madison Square Garden with only one new song to support it,” the source explained, referring to the Pussycat Dolls’ comeback single, “Club Song,” released in March but not yet performed. “They misjudged the demand.”

From nostalgic reunions to buzzy new headliners and possible farewells, this summer’s concert calendar is stacked with what are sure to be must-see tours. Below, Us Weekly rounds up 10 superstar acts — including pop princess Ariana Grande, global heartthrob Harry Styles and generation-defying party starter Bruno Mars — who are hitting the road with […]

Despite her disappointment, Scherzinger remains focused on rehearsals for the sole remaining U.S. show at the OutLoud Music Festival in West Hollywood on June 6. The 47-year-old frontwoman shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday, May 12, featuring herself, Roberts, 44, and Wyatt, also 44, practicing choreography for the Pride Week event ahead of their international tour in September.

“Nicole is trying to stay positive as the Dolls continue with their European dates, which she is thrilled about, yet it’s challenging not to feel downhearted,” the insider conveyed to Us. “She has faced similar setbacks before. Her solo album Her Name Is Nicole was shelved [in 2007], their last reunion tour [in 2020] was canceled, and she has a lot of unreleased music. Despite these difficulties, Nicole appreciates the ongoing support from overseas.”

While the Pussycat Dolls have canceled 32 shows, they are hopeful that fan videos from the remaining 21 dates could generate interest for another opportunity in the U.S.

“Nicole is optimistic that the Dolls can arrange something else in the U.S. once people see the special show planned for Europe,” the insider hinted.

Us Weekly has contacted Scherzinger’s representative for further comments.

Nicole Scherzinger has finally settled her legal battle with Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin over a planned reunion tour that fell apart, Us Weekly can exclusively report. On Tuesday, October 28, Scherzinger, 47, informed the court that the lawsuit filed by Antin, 64, and the countersuit she filed against Antin are being dismissed. The move […]

The Pussycat Dolls, who gained fame in the mid-2000s with hits like “Don’t Cha,” “Buttons,” and “When I Grow Up,” announced their reunion and tour plans in March. However, they recently made the difficult decision to cancel their U.S. and Canada concerts after reviewing sales figures.

From the onset, the group’s reunion was fraught with controversy. After Scherzinger, Roberts, and Wyatt announced their comeback as a trio, former members Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta publicly criticized them for not involving all five members.

“I was not informed about the group’s decision to proceed, and learned about these plans simultaneously with the public,” Bachar, 51, expressed on Instagram. “Given my involvement with the brand since its early days and my role in securing the record deal, I would have appreciated direct communication.”

Meanwhile, Sutta, 43, identified herself as a “liability” on the “Maverick Approach” podcast due to her friendship and support for President Donald Trump‘s health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“I align with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligning with MAGA,” Sutta remarked.
