Jack Osbourne is responding to criticisms about his weight.
“I can’t believe I have to make this video. If I see another article labeling me as ‘sick,’ ‘grossly underweight,’ or calling it a ‘health crisis’… It’s insane,” the former Osbournes star, 40, expressed in a passionate Instagram video posted on Tuesday, May 19.
“I haven’t lost any weight since leaving the jungle from I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! six months ago,” he noted, referencing the U.K. reality show that aired from November to December 2025. “My weight hasn’t changed. The only thing different is I shaved my beard and decided on a mustache. That’s it.”
Jack highlighted his efforts to lose weight over the past four years, mentioning his regular practice of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Jack explained, “I’ve been gradually losing weight for the last three and a half years. I was around 220 pounds three and a half years ago and decided to make a change.”
“What’s the big deal? I’m 5 foot 8 and a half and 155 pounds. That’s perfectly healthy,” he emphasized.
Jack wrapped up his video by expressing disbelief over the ongoing scrutiny about his weight.
“The fact that I have to say this is mind-blowing,” he noted. “I was constantly criticized by the press for being overweight, and now that I’m at a healthy weight, the criticism continues? Get f***ed.”
Several of Jack’s celebrity friends offered their support in the comments section of his post.
“Love you Jack. You tell ’em!!!” wrote Kelly Rizzo. AEW wrestler Chris Jericho added, “Don’t listen to the haters, dude. You look great.”
In March, Jack and his wife Aree Gearhart welcomed their second child. They named their daughter in honor of Jack’s late father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at 76 in July 2025.
“Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne,” the couple announced via a joint Instagram post.
In December 2025, Jack shared with The Sun newspaper that he and Aree were able to inform Ozzy of her pregnancy before his passing the previous summer.
He commented, “It’s brought a hopeful energy amidst the grieving. It’s been easier for me — I think it’s been much harder on my wife!”
Jack and Aree, 35, also have a 3-year-old daughter, Maple. Jack has three older children with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly: Pearl, 14, Andy, 10, and Minnie, 8.
