The Birdman actress made a striking impression at the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards, wearing a black sculptural vest paired with a green mini skirt and black leather pumps.
In the same year, she became the subject of plastic surgery speculation due to her noticeably more youthful look.
“The reduction in excess skin on her upper eyelids suggests she underwent an upper blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift,” noted plastic surgeon Dr. Sean McNally. “This procedure can also elevate the tail of her eyebrows slightly, which is achievable through a brow pexy using the blepharoplasty incision.”
He further commented, “Her cheeks appear more lifted, and her nasolabial folds are less pronounced without seeming fuller, indicating the absence of fillers or fat grafting, which are commonly used. I suspect she had a midface lift, likely performed via an incision inside the lower eyelid, and based on her age and photos, she was an appropriate candidate for this procedure.”
