Although Josh Rosen’s NFL career ended some time ago, his professional journey is just beginning. Five years after recording his last game statistic, Rosen has earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
Dov Kleiman recently shared that Rosen, a former Cardinals quarterback, has transitioned into a new role as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan.

Fans reacted to Rosen’s career shift with mixed emotions.
“All the greats go to Wharton: Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, specializing in finance,” one posted.
“Hope he can (manage his) finances better than he managed (his) career,” another replied.
“He would give anything to be playing football right now with his peers compared to getting his MBA,” one commented.
While some fans were critical, others supported Rosen’s new path.
“A lot of hate in the comments, good for him,” one responded.
“Good on him for not falling apart after NFL dreams didn’t work out,” one added.
The Cardinals have moved on from Josh Rosen, opting for a new franchise quarterback and his successor since Rosen’s departure.

Cardinals transition away from Josh Rosen’s successor

As Josh Rosen embarks on a new career, the Cardinals have also shifted gears. After Rosen’s last play in 2019, the team entered the Kyler Murray era. Despite some highlights, Murray’s tenure was marred by more downs than ups.
The situation worsened when the Cardinals offered Murray a high-stakes contract that included a “homework clause” requiring him to study during off-hours. Although the clause was later removed, it marked the first crack in their relationship.
Following a playoff appearance in 2021, Murray’s Cardinals posted four or fewer wins in three of his last four seasons. In 2026, the team drafted Carson Beck to succeed both Murray and Rosen, leaving fans to wonder if the franchise has finally resolved its longstanding quarterback issues since the Carson Palmer era.
