This immersive experience is designed for rising high school juniors and seniors who are passionate about art and design.

At RISD Pre-College, students will dive into a college-level curriculum that mirrors the RISD first-year experience. They will attend day-long studio classes, explore the Nature Lab and RISD Museum, participate in critiques, and work on projects that will challenge and inspire them. The program aims to shape how students approach art and design, setting them on a path towards success in the creative field.

One of the highlights of the program is the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded peers who are equally motivated and talented. The sense of community and support at RISD Pre-College is unparalleled, fostering a vibrant and inspiring environment for artistic growth.

“I feel like I’ve grown tenfold as an artist at Pre-College, and I’ve never been more inspired to work toward art school. The critique process at RISD is so unique and constructive. I’m so glad I got to experience it.”
