In light of unexpected developments, Megan Bayne and several AEW wrestlers will not be attending an upcoming event. Fortunately, Tony Khan has stepped in to arrange replacements.
Known in the wrestling world as The Megasus, Bayne is recognized for her extensive work, not only with the Jacksonville-based promotion but also with other organizations. She has recently returned to Stardom, appeared at CMLL, and continues to take independent circuit bookings.
Bayne was initially set to appear at the Battle for the Brave event this weekend with the Infantry. However, it has been announced that they will not participate. Deonna Purrazzo, who, along with her husband Steve Maclin, is hosting the show, shared that Kris Statlander will replace Megan Bayne with Tony Khan’s assistance.

Purrazzo also mentioned that a mystery AEW tag team will replace the Infantry, with their identity being revealed during the show.

Megan Bayne’s Upcoming AEW Title Match
Though the reason for Megan Bayne’s withdrawal from Battle for the Brave is unclear, she is set to defend her women’s tag team title this Saturday on Collision.
Last weekend, TayJay became the first team to last the full 5-minute time limit set by Divine Dominion, earning an official shot at the championship belts. This title match will follow standard rules and is scheduled for this upcoming weekend.
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross will need to prepare as TayJay has proven to be a formidable challenge to their title reign.
