In June 2025, Denise Richards underwent a face and neck lift performed by Dr. Ben Talei.
During a conversation with Inside Edition, the cosmetic surgeon explained that the Bold and the Beautiful actress “felt like her face just didn’t look like her anymore.”
“We performed a face and neck lift and a temporal brow restoration, where I reset the upper third of the face back to its original position,” he elaborated. “I also recontoured the eyes and executed a cupid corner lift, which involves an incision on the side of the mouth to enhance its appearance, making it look younger and more neutral.”
Initially, Richards was “terrified” about the procedure, but the World Is Not Enough star shared that the facelift helped her regain her confidence.
“I’m so grateful to Dr. Ben, truly, because aging doesn’t happen overnight. But after a facelift and healing, the transformation is dramatic,” she commented. “It has been especially uplifting given my personal circumstances. I wasn’t divorcing when I had it done, although there were significant issues in my marriage. It’s given me a new lease on life, boosting my confidence.”
Richards, who separated from her husband Aaron Phypers in July 2025, added, “People have asked if I would have gone through with it if I weren’t an actress, and I would have. It makes me feel good and confident, and I’m thankful I did it. It’s positively changed my life. I had no idea, and I wish I had done it sooner, but I’m thankful for the timing.”
