Liverpool manager Arne Slot has opened up about the importance of balancing his personal life during the international breaks. Slot, who took over from Jurgen Klopp, has had a remarkable start to his tenure at Liverpool, with 15 wins and just one defeat in 17 games this season.

In an interview with LFCTV, Slot revealed that his family remains in Holland while he is in Liverpool, which means that most of his time is spent working. He mentioned that even during his rare days off, he finds himself thinking about training sessions and preparing for upcoming matches. Despite the demanding nature of his job, Slot emphasized the value of spending quality time with his family during international breaks.

The Dutch manager, whose team is currently leading the Premier League table, acknowledged the importance of taking breaks to recharge and switch off from the intense workload. He highlighted the need to strike a balance between work and personal life to avoid burnout.

In other news, Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Olympique Lyonnais winger Rayan Cherki in the future. The 21-year-old, whose contract expires in June 2026, could be sold by Lyon to alleviate their financial struggles. Cherki has been a key player for Lyon, with 19 goals and 28 assists in 152 appearances for the club.

As Slot continues to navigate the challenges of managing a top-flight team like Liverpool, he remains committed to finding time for himself and his family. His ability to switch off during international breaks is crucial for maintaining his performance and well-being in the long run.
