Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on Friday evening in midtown Manhattan. While the couple has not shared any photos or specific details about their wedding, comments from attendees have emerged in the following days.
According to a report by Page Six on Tuesday, sources revealed that none of Taylor Swift’s godchildren were present at the wedding festivities. Swift is the godmother to actress Jaime King’s sons, James and Leo, as well as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughters, James, Inez, and Betty.

On Friday, Swift and Kelce issued an official statement clarifying that they opted out of having a traditional wedding party with bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin, served as her Man-of-Honor, and Kelce’s brother, Jason, was his Best Man.

The discussion about Swift’s godchildren not being included continued, with some users on X expressing little surprise at their absence, citing a fallout between her and the children’s parents, Lively and King.
“Because she fell out with all of her godchildren’s parents, That’s yet another example of her being incapable of keeping friends,” another critic of the Grammy winner said.
“Isn’t that how all godparents are? They’re fulfilling their role,” one person said of the godparent role.
“Just found out now that she’s the godmother of all of Blake’s kids. And now they don’t even talk to each other anymore (skull emoji),” one person in X said.
Others defended Swift’s decision to have a smaller wedding party, emphasizing her choice to include only immediate family.
“She only had her brother stand for her. No wedding party,” one fan proclaimed.
“Better title, “Swift only includes immediate family in wedding party.” Give it a rest,” said another.
“Good lord. God forbid she just keeps it just family,” one fan stated.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife Tavia came to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s defense after wedding rumors
Kansas City Chiefs CEO/owner Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia, were among the 1,000 guests at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding last week. Even without photographic or video evidence, rumors about the event have been circulating.
On Tuesday, Tavia Hunt addressed social media influencer and podcaster Zack Peter, who claimed in an Instagram video that the champagne ran out early and that there were issues with seating and buffet lines. Hunt refuted these claims in a comment on his post.
“This is such a false narrative. They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony. The vows were spectacular – beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect,” she said.
She continued, “It could not have been a more fabulous experience. And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. That is hearsay – not truth,” Tavia Hunt commented.
Tavia Hunt also criticized Peter’s comment as “inappropriate” since he wasn’t present at the event.
