Numerous respected sources report that 22 July is the slated date, with a promotional discount from Samsung Malaysia being the most substantial clue. The offer, which applies to future foldable phones, starts on 22 July, nearly confirming the date.
It is expected to take place in London, diverging from previous events held in the USA. Samsung’s teaser for the event hints at the shorter Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide.

Galaxy Z Fold 8

What we don’t expect to see at the next Galaxy Unpacked
While the next Unpacked holds promise for new gadgets, some Samsung devices are likely to be absent.
The Galaxy Ring 2 could have been a highlight for the July Unpacked, marking two years since the smart ring’s introduction (and even longer since its initial tease). Samsung has confirmed development on a new model.
However, rumors indicate that the Galaxy Ring 2 won’t arrive until early 2027, leaving its status uncertain.
