Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is widely known as a fan of pop sensation Taylor Swift. During a recent interview, she was asked to choose her favorite Swift era, which proved challenging for her.
Clark, a WNBA standout, often changes her preference for different eras. However, she did mention two eras that resonate with her emotions.
“I feel like this is more niche, but I love ‘folklore,’ ‘evermore.’ That’s just good stuff,” Clark said. “Gets you in your feels a little bit, you know. But I switch up every day. But you can’t go wrong.”
During Swift’s “Era’s Tour,” Clark demonstrated her fandom by attending three concerts. She attended the Minneapolis concert in 2023 and the consecutive shows at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in 2024.
In May, Clark appeared on “Post Moves with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston.” On the podcast, she was asked about her all-time favorite Taylor Swift song, to which she responded with “Enchanted” from the 2010 album “Speak Now.”
The ninth track from the album has surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. Clark shared with Boston and Parker that she has been listening to the song since her college days, where she was a prominent figure in the women’s basketball program.
Caitlin Clark achieved what many fans dream of by connecting with Swift during her “Eras Tour” stop in Indianapolis. Reports also suggest that they spent time together in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium during a Kansas City Chiefs game.
Caitlin Clark Honored Taylor Swift With a Custom Nike Kobe 6 Protro
Caitlin Clark’s admiration for Taylor Swift is boundless. Inspired by the Grammy Award-winning artist, she unveiled a custom Nike Kobe 6 Protro shoe in early June.
The shoes feature a scaly upper with a vibrant gradient of pink, orange, yellow, and green. The white midsole showcases a small orange and pink gradient burst, while the heel, lining, and midsole are accented with black.
âObviously, you guys know Iâm a big fan of Taylor, and âThe Eras Tour was the best concert of all time,â Clark told reporters. âThese are my last [player-exclusives] that I was gonna debut, so I saved the best ones for last.â
Caitlin Clark complemented the shoes with her Taylor Swift friendship bracelets.
